The Shooting Star Express - A Journey to the Land of Imagination- (K-2nd grade or 3rd -5th Grade) It’s a sensational music celebration as we venture to the Land of Imagination; a performance of toe-tapping’ music, zany characters, frivolous skits, and hilarious comedy for all. Meet Big John and Coyote, A Merry mermaid, or perhaps a psychedelic T-Rex. (Educational emphasis: Einstein’s Theory - Imagination is more important than knowledge. Exploring the power of our creative imaginations.)
Funtastical Journey through Reading - (K-2nd grade or 3rd -5th Grade) This whimsical interactive show will get everyone in a “Reading Mood”. Come join the contagion as we focus on the theme, “Reading is Fun-tastic”! Travel to magical places with the help of our imagination freckle and a basket of wonderful books. Educational emphasis: Reading is a fun adventure for all. (Books can open your world.)
Teddy Bear Picnic - (Preschool through 1st Grade) Come along and join the merriment as we picnic with our very favorite friends. With a basket of books, some stories, giggles and fun, we are off to the Magic Tree. (Educational Emphasis: Development of the creative imagination; and Reading is Funtastic)
The Incredible Mother Earth Show: - (All ages) A positive focus on the wonders of our environment and how we can make it a better place for all living things. (Educational emphasis: gifts of the earth, recycling, endangered species, and the brotherhood of mankind.)
Heroes and Heroines Show - (K-2nd grade or 3rd -5th Grade)“A hero is someone who takes the extra step.” Meet Christopher Columbus, Albert Einstein, Amelia Earhart and others as we look back in time at some legendary figures. What made these people unique and how important is courage and confidence? We will also look at the “invisible heroes and heroines” of our every day lives. Courage comes in many shapes, colors, sizes and faces. (Educational Emphasis: Confidence, self worth, courage, goal setting, and historic figures.)
Pilgrims, Pirates, Pioneers and Patriots Show – (K-2nd grade or 3rd -5th Grade) Follow along with our rich American history as we visit with some interesting and courageous characters from days of old. This edu-taining and historical look at the birth of a nation will involve the audience in interactive song and story. Students will be challenged to ask -“What is patriotism?” and “How can we be great citizens of today’s nation?”. (Educational Emphasis: American History, historic figures, Patriotism, Citizenship)
